Service Description

Course goal and learning outcomes This course aims to introduce participants to the basic tenets of quantitative research and enables them to re/consider the approach for their projects. This course introduces the participants to quantitative research methodology and covers the research process, research design (design, validity, reliability), data collection, exploratory data analysis, correlation analysis, hypothesis testing, regression analysis. Core competencies Competency 1: Critical thinking Competency 2: Data analysis Competency 3: Statistical analysis Competency 4: Hypothesis testing Competency 5: Problem solving Competency 6: Research design and evaluation Course plan Day 1: Research terms, research process, quantitative research design, data collection methods, data analysis, statistics (descriptive vs. inferential) Day 2: Descriptive research, descriptive statistics (measures of central tendency, measures of dispersion, normal distribution) Day 3: Inferential statistics (confidence level and interval, correlation analysis, sample means comparison ( t-test), hypothesis testing) Day 4: Inferential statistics (continued), regression analysis, mediation analysis, moderation analysis Day 5: Evaluation (reliability and validity), present quantitative research findings, limitations (research design, etc.) Cancellation policy Full refund if requested 15 business days before the start of the course.
